Description:
Scarce Second Model Takedown with color case hardened frame. 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Long caliber. Barrel and mag tube are a plum/brown color with sharp corners and good markings. A dark bore with visible rifling that may clean up. Original sights. There are 2 tapped holes in the barrel that have been filled with screws. Receiver has good traces of case color with the balance turning a nickel/brown color. Wood retains about 75% original varnish with steel rifle style buttplate. Rifle is in the 44k serial range made in 1896.
