Description:
S&W Model 1 1/2 .32 Centerfire Revolver made in 1878, with a 3 1/2" round barrel, 5 shot fluted cylinder, and checkered wood birdshead grips. This revolver was very popular in the era for personal defense and concealed carry because of its size, reliability, caliber and its rebounding hammer which allowed it to be carried when fully loaded - and it is an early 1st year production of the 97,574 revolvers S&W would make from 1878 thru 1892.
The bore and cylinder are in mint condition, the mechanics are excellent, and it has 95+% of its nickel finish remaining - excellent overall condition!
This revolver is an antique and requires only proof of being over 21 years of age to purchase. Shipping is $25.
