SN: 311419. Made in 1918 by COLT's Patent Firearms with a 5.03-inch barrel. Pistol is equipped with the short tang grip safety, a Type C long beavertail hammer, long trigger, Type B ""U"" notch rear sight, the Type 1 flat mainspring housing & a Type 3 ""round detent"" recoil spring plug. The frame is marked with an eagle head ""S11"" inspection mark on the left side above the magazine release. Overall condition is excellent, but it has been refinished. Nevertheless, there is even finish across all metal parts with almost no signs of oxidation or handling wear, although there is some limited friction wear on both sides of the trigger. Comes with a pair of Type 1 checkered wood ""diamond"" grips in very good condition, one no-seam 7-round magazine made by M.S. Little Company & a 1918-dated Model of 1916 leather holster. Consignment
