Description:
Rogers and Spencer Revolver serial number 1194. It has all matching serial numbers. Very nice grips with inspector marks and cartouche. Some light chipping on right grip on lower edge (see pic). Barrel retains 85 to 90% original blue. Receiver exhibits about the same 85 to 90%. Case colors are still showing on loading lever. All the sub inspector marks are present on the various parts. Blackstrap retains 70 to 75% original blue as well. Silvered out case colors on hammer and cylinder exhibits a nice brown patina. Nice bore. Gun functions as it should. Hammer functions when fired, but if held back by thumb it's a little sticky. Should be cleaned. Please make no mistake, the revolver indexes and functions properly (great mainspring but sticky / gummy hammer). If your looking for an above average Rodgers and Spencer here is your chance.
