Description:
The Hi-Standard Model HB, 1st and 2nd Models, were made off & on from 1940 to 1949. The pistols were fitted with either a 4 1/2 or 6 3/4 inch lightweight barrel, fixed sights, external hammer with checkered spur, checkered hard rubber grips with or without HS mongrams, 1st Model had no external safety 2nd Model with, were blue finished, and chambered in .22LR. This Model HB is a 2nd Model and has the checkered monogramed grips and external safety, made 1948 or 1949. This pistol is in fine original condition, retaining 55-60% orignal blue, with most loss on the front and back-straps. The grips fit very well and are in excellent condition, showing little wear with sharp checkering. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling and the action works perfectly, except for a loose fitting safety lever. Serial number on slide matches number on frame. CURIO & RELIC
