Description:
.58 caliber, 44" full octagon heavy barrel marked "H. DERINGER/PHILAD" on the top flat. Full length maple stock with cheekpiece and patchbox. Brass escutcheons are found at the wrist and cheekpiece. Flintlock with the makers name under the pan. Brass mounts. In very fine condition showing some evidence of an earlier restoration. All of the markings are crisp and the wood is very nice. Mechanically excellent. Ram rod missing.
