Description:
Vintage Winchester 1885 High-Wall, c.1892. Barrel measures 28 inches whereas, the factory paperwork indicates originally 30 inch. Caliber is stamped on an inlaid metal plate at the breech. Scattered dings and scratches on the stock and forearm, buttstock has a crack on the right. Smooth metal finish has turned patina. Includes Cody Museum records inquiry. .45-70 Government
