Description:
The Ruger 44 carbine semi-automatic was a centerfire 4+1 chambered around .44 Remington Magnum. The Ruger 44 had a much-appreciated long production life that ran from 1960 or 1961 to 1985 when Ruger killed it off due to high production costs. Even then, Ruger squeezed out a quarter million of these fine gas-operated rifles. They seem to get passed down from father to son quite a bit. The American walnut stocks have gentle flowing classic lines. The stocks are all one piece of wood, while just about everything else is blued metal, which makes for a nice contrast. Commensurate with their carbine dimensions. Ruger drilled and tapped the receiver to make it scope-friendly. Comes With a soft case. .44 Magnum
