Description:
This is a partial box, 15 rounds, of .45-90 smokeless High Velocity ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 300 grain soft point bullets. The two piece, round corner, buff box is solid with yellow and black label has a side red "W" label with "1-7" date. The top and side labels are intact with some flaking and mild staining. The cartridges all have the same "W.R.A. Co 45-90 W.H.V." head stamp and "w" primers with two different soft point bullet types, 5 having flat nose and 10 having slightly rounded ones. A seldom seen and very good looking box that will display well with your 1886 ammo collection or pair with a rifle.
