SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 18" CALIBER .22 SHORT & LONG MANUFACTURED 1902-1931.Blue finished with blade front sight and drift adjustable peep rear sight. American hardwood stock with brown varnish finish. Elongated stamped trigger guard with steel butt plate. Sold as a utilitarian Garden gun or youth rifle. Most were very hard used with a low survival rate in good or better condition. CONDITION. Very good with over 80% thinning blue remaining on barrel with plum undertones. Action operates properly. Bore has visible rifling with darkness in grooves. Trigger guard has 30% blue and butt plate has 40% blue with initials "AAS" lightly marked at center. Stock is very good for a 1902 with much varnish remaing and no breaks or material loss. C&R
