Description:
Gun looks pretty decent with sound solid wood. It has an old coat of added varnish. The full length stock has been shortened to carbine length and was nicely done. The lock plate is marked "US Norwich" and behind the hammer is "1864". This is an attractive conversion making it a more usable item. Barrel measures about 32 inches. Nice plum/brown color. Nice functioning action.
