Description:
Lovely little gun, made in approximately 1908. Beautiful, near perfect pearl grips with the S&W monogram on both sides. They fit very well. The bore is in very good codition, with strong rifling. Due to the slight softening of the S&W stamp on the left side of the frame, we believe that the gun was re blued, if so many years ago, and expertly done. Other markings still very crisp. There is high edge wear at the muzzle and blue wear on the ejector rod. Judge for yourself. Everything works and the gun is very tight.
When was it last fired? 100 years ago? We don't know. Chambered for the .22 S&W cartridge. In anyone's book, this is a beautiful example of workmanship of the time. No box or papers of any kind.
