Description:
SOLD   This Commercial Model Colt was produced in 1917. The pistol's serial number is C 95604. It has the correct commercial barrel chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. The bore is in very fine bright condition. This pistol is in original condition with no alterations or replaced parts. The original charcoal bluing would rate a 96% overall condition. The wood grips are in very nice condition. The magazine is the correct two tone magazine with the bright lower magazine body bluing. The action is crisp and locks up snug. This pistol has been well cared for and shows very little sign of being fired. This pistol is a fine example of an early Commercial series of the 1911 Models. This is a great looking Colt that would be a wonderful addition to a fine collection! The original box of ammunition can be purchased. Look at our Antique boxed Ammunition section.
