SN: 198339. Made by Izhevsk in 1916 with a 29-inch barrel chambered for the 7.62x54mmR cartridge. Rifle has the distinctive hexagonal receiver of the pre-1930 Mosin-Nagants & it is import marked on the right side of the barrel near the front sight. Overall excellent condition with a bright bore that has strong visible rifling. The stock is in especially good condition with none of the handling wear one would expect to see on a military service rifle that went through a couple of world wars. Comes with a 29-inch cleaning rod & a 1949 dated Soviet-erasling. Consignment
