Description:
16 Gauge Pre-War Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun. Manufactured 1937. Single bead sight on the matte concave rib with 2 3/4-inch chambers, ejectors, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Left barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - 16 GAUGE -2 3/4 CHAM" just forward of the breech with the matching serial number and Winchester "WP" proofs on the flats. Water table stamped with the Winchester "WP" proof on the right and three-line model and address marking on the left. Single trigger with selector and tang mounted automatic thumb safety. Fancy checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester hard rubber butt plate. Side panels checkered. Stock: 1 1/2-inch drop at comb; 2 3/8-inch drop at heel; 13 3/4-inch length of pull. BBL: 26-inch solid rib Stock: walnut Serial Number: 6770. Condition: Very fine. Mechanically excellent.
