Description:
Winchester Model 1876 lever-action rifle chambered in .40-60 Winchester (.44-60 WCF). Features include a blued 24-inch octagonal barrel and blued receiver with fire-blued load gate. Has blade front and ladder rear sights and includes a factory installed rear adjustable Lyman peep sight. Also has a factory installed set trigger with adjustment screw. Comes with a factory letter detailing its configuration and confirming its ship date in December 1887. Appears to have had some cold bluing applied to the steel and varnish applied to the burled walnut at some point in its long life. .40-60 WCF
