SN: T9396. Made in November 1945 by the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley near Liverpool with an 18.75-inch barrel chambered for the .303 rifle cartridge. Condition overall is very good with a bright bore, original factory finish across the metallic parts that shows some handling wear, & a buttstock that presents the kind of dings & dents you expect to see on a military surplus firearm. The letters ""F R"" have been painted onto both sides of the stock & the handguard is matching in both color & condition. A genuine Enfield No.5 Mk.I ""Jungle Carbine"" - not a commercial clone.
