SN: 23089. Made in 1943 with a 25-inch barrel chambered for the .303 rifle cartridge. Overall condition is good with a bright bore, original factory finish across the metallic parts & a buttstock that exhibits the kind of dings, dents & scratches that one expects to see on a former military service rifle. No cracks or repairs on the wood. Rifle is equipped with the Mk. III rear sight assembly & a grooved rear handguard.
