Serial Number 18669 Bbl, 3 3/16" Cal .22 Rim Fire. Mfg circa 1860-66  Very fine Smith & Wesson Model 1 .22 Rev, with blue finished barrel and silver washed frame with varnish rosewood grips. Spur trigger single action. It is believed it was a Number 1 Smith & Wesson like this used to Kill Jeb Stuart at Yellow Tavern in Va, during the U.S. Civil war. Condition Very fine with well over 80% blue finish on barrel with crisp barrel legends. Cylinder has over 75% thinning blue with legible patent markings. Brass frame retains over 90% silver with edge wear Grips have some bruises and 2 small chips from period use. Action operates properly and bore is very good. Antique
