Serial No. 56299, circa 1863-1865, .52 caliber, 22"" round barrel. Barrel and receiver are a dark brown/ grey patina with surface oxidation visible. Bore is dark with heavy pitting noted, 6 groove rifling is faint but present. Stock has expected nicks, dings, and scratches from handling and usage wear. Magazine tube is missing, action does not function correctly as breech does not close all the way. ConsignmentÂ
