CIVIL WAR REMINGTON U.S. NEW MODEL .44 CAL. PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863-64. Six-shot with 8” octagon barrel. All matching original example. 30-40% original blue mixed with old deep patina. In uncleaned as found condition and will clean even better. Excellent original grips with the original finish and with a good visible Ordnance Inspector’s cartouche on the left flat. Perfect working order and good bore. From an old 1940’s-1950’s era collection of guns collected in the near surrounds of the Battle of Petersburg.
