I'm selling my collection. An Antique Imperial Commission Mauser Gewehr 88 Bolt action Military Battle Rifle Turkish Issued, manufactured by the famous German Imperial Loewe Berlin Factory. Antique no FFL required. It’s chambered in 7.92mm x 57 caliber Mauser modified for the new "S" bullet (stands for spitzer). With all the military Imperial & Turkish approval & acceptance markings. Found in good condition: bore is good with good rifling slightly grainy in the groove. Serial numbers "8240" look like they are matching. Comes wits original cleaning rod.The wood of the stock shows a good use, all is accuratly photographed. The original factory blue finish rates 60% turning patina with some pin pricked erosion. The action is firm and smooth. Those are fun to shoot and very accurate with its 30" shrouded barrel with available proper reloads. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures.
