Description:
This listing is for a pre-owned IWI Tavor SAR FDE-18 with a flat dark earth synthetic stock and 18" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined Chrome-Moly-Vanadium steel barrel with a 1:7" 6-groove RH twist. The Tavor SAR is the semiautomatic-only civilian legal variant of the TAR-21. The SAR has a bullpup configuration, where the action sits to the rear of the trigger assembly in the buttstock of the weapon. This makes bullpup rifles much shorter than standard style rifles for ease of use and maneuvering. This Tavor SAR is set-up for right hand operation but can be readily converted to left hand operation (Allen wrench required, not included). It uses a 30-round magazine (one new Magpul Gen 3 30-rd window mag included). The magazine release is a large lever located on the underside of the stock to the rear of the magazine well. The rifle is optics-ready, but includes front and rear iron sights that are integrated into the full length top picatinny rail. A separate section of picatinny rail is installed on the right side of the handguard for attaching accessories such as lights or lasers (not included). Note: The accessory rail can be moved to the left side should the rifle need to be set up for left handed use.
