German JP Sauer M98k ce 41 with nearly all matching numbers but front stock bands, one is 3643, the other unnumbered. Can’t find any markings on stock, but never removed it. The receiver, bolt, floorplate, all small parts, including sights, are machined and matching. WaffenAmts 37 and 359 were both used in early 1941 before Sauer production code changed from “147” to a script “ce”.
A great looking rifle that is accurate and works as it should, I have fired this 8mm many times with never a problem. It has a 24” barrel with bright bore and strong rifling, clean rifle overall.
It has a laminated wood stock, cleaning rod, adjustable sights, and metal butt plate all in VG+ condition. The stock’s only marking is a small C and an unreadable character. I left on a rare rubber muzzle protector it came with. Everything is as I got it over 25 years ago, I can’t remember from where.
Unfortunately don’t use it anymore, cut down on mountain climbing and range time.
