A rare piece, the Marlin Model 39D was produced between 1971 and 1973 with approximately 23,000 produced. This is marked as a 1971. This takedown model is chambered in .22 S, L, or LR. It features a 20" barrel and pistol grip.
This rifle still retains the "bullseye" in the stock. Our research shows that Marlin's traditional bullseye in the stock helps determine the year of production. This rifle has that bullseye present. Stock displays minor wear with no chips, gouges, or cracks. All scope base and peep sight screws are original and in place.
