Description:
For Sale is a Custom Built Remington 700 Sniper Package made by Sniper Central in Montana around 2005. This rifle is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum and includes (3) detachable 5-round box magazines. The rifle is built on a fully-adjustable Accuracy International Chassis System and also includes an upgraded Timney trigger and a Leupold 4.5-14x scope. The rifle is in overall very good condition and, according to the shooter's log book, has less than 500 rounds through it. The 24" threaded heavy barrel (overall length of 26" with muzzle brake) has a beautiful shiny bore with strong rifling and a nice coyote tan cerakote finish. There are a few light marks on the barrel as well as some finish wear on the muzzle brake (shown in pictures). The stock has a few light handling marks but is in overall great shape. The scope has a couple light scratches as well but functions perfectly with very clear glass and reticle protected by the flip-up covers. There is also some adhesive on the top of the barrel just forward of the chamber (shown in pictures) from the original owner using a strain gauge to measure barrel pressure while shooting. This rifle package today would cost well over $5,000 and Sniper Central has a current wait time of 12+ months. The rifle also comes with a custom Pelican 1750 hard case with cut foam ($300+ value).
