The 2mm Kolibri (also known as the 2.7mm Kolibri Pistol or 2.7×9mm Kolibri) was the smallest commercially available centerfire cartridge,patented in 1910 and introduced in 1914 by Franz Pfannl, an Austrian watchmaker, with financial support from Georg Grabner. It was designed to accompany the Kolibri semi-auto pistol or single-shot pistol, both marketed as self-defense weapons.
The name is derived from Kolibri, the German word for hummingbird, which is among the smallest of birds.
No pitting or rust. Blueing faded on frame but pistol is in great condition. It comes with 1 ONE round of ammo. I am posting 17 additional rounds -12 in original tin and 5 loose rounds in a separate listing. It also comes with a small leather pouch which I believe is contemporary to the pistol. The pistol is a true collectible using obsolete ammo. I have never fired it and recommend it not be fired. Blueing faded but absolutely no browning or pitting.
