Description:
A handsome pre WWII revolver by Smith & Wesson, made with the 4 screw sideplate and screw in front of the trigger guard, commonly called a 5 screw model made with S&W pre war quality. Revolver shows careful use and no abuse, with an excellent bore and chambers. Hammer and trigger show most all of the slightly faded case color, and bluing is about 85%. Grips are original diamond checkered walnut with normal wear but no cracks or chips. Just cycle the action and you can easily see why we prefer these older revolvers to anything they make today.
