Remington Model 550-1 Semi - Auto - .22 Rifle - Smooth one piece pistol grip stock, forend and butt plate in excellent condition. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will hold 20 Short , 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a period correct like new Weaver V-22A scope and rings with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver is retaining 100 % bluing. Power piston and floating piston are like new. Stock and forend are like new with a few tiny handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The Remington 550-1 is a highly reliable and extremely accurate shooter. This one is in pristine condition. Bolt and portions of the barrel still had original factory grease . Not sure rifle was ever fired. Manufactured in April 1968. Serious collector quality.
