Serial #523348, .22 WMR, 5.5 inch barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Old Model (unconverted), Single Six Convertible revolver manufactured by Ruger in 1966. Originally shipped with a .22 LR cylinder (no longer present), this 3 screw single action remains in near excellent condition retaining about 85-90% of the original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder thinning to gray on the high edges and along the left barrel side toward the muzzle and comparable amounts of black finish loss on the aluminum grip frame. The walnut grips are solid showing some mild scratches and use marks. Mechanically sound the gun locks up tight with a crisp trigger pull. A classic old model Single Six in a great caliber.
