Up for sale is a DCM M1D Garand Sniper. The gun was assembled in 6-69 by Tooele AD M1D conversion/rebuild program. The gun was sold from DCM February 26,1996. Tooele and Lettherkenny both engaged in this process.This particular piece was headed to Vietnam but sidetracked to DCM. The rifle shipped in it original box to DCM and was sold at .The box is not in good conidition from storage but the gun and parts are stellar.The barrel is in the white.The gun was fired once for test purposes. Every part lock up is tight. The parts are all photgraphed for your review. I only assemled the rifle scope and rifle scope mount for display purposes.The furniture on this gun is unbeliveable as one can easily see a tiger striped walnut stock followed by beatifull straight grain.There are some handling marks but the photos speak for them selves Tooele supposed assempled the better M1D during that era.I will ship from fro my C&R to you C&R.
