Copy of a Smith & Wesson Double Action with original antique holster and Stag grips.
An early Belgium Copy of a Smith & Wesson pocket Fourth Model Double Action Revolver in .38 Short. Shows several proof marks on the back of the cylinder. It has the number 17 on the trigger, trigger guard and the hammer. The barrel measures 3 1/4 inches and has a bright clean strongly rifled bore. This is a top-break, single action pulls a little hard over one chamber, the double action functions very well, as it should. The lock-up is tight. This is a 5 shot revolver based on the S&W Patent. The nickel plated finish is smooth with some dark spots and displays well as you can see. The STAG grips are interesting feature. The grips are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. You can find these advertised in the Sears & Roebuck and Montgomery catalogs of the 1880s.

The included holster is in very good using condition with fully alive leather. It has a few missing stitches in the trigger guard area.
