Very nice 2nd gen Colt Dragoon, Model C-1770 no box, mint with nice patina to the brass. This 3rd Model "C" Series was actually assembled and finished at the Colt factory. Whereas the later "F" Series were sourced out to Iver Johnson. Having owned both, the "C" Series has a better finish and shoots 10 times better than the "F" series. This shows signs of handling, but no signs of powder staining or residue around the cylinder or nipples. I finally got around to shooting this last week and it is very accurate. All I had at the time was 2f triple 7, pretty sure it would even do better with real black powder. This can be shipped directly to your door, if legal in your state.
