SN: 82180. Made by Kokura Arsenal with a 31.4-inch barrel chambered for the 6.5x50mm cartridge. This 23rd Series Kokura Arsenal Type 38 has a dark bore with strong visible rifling & the chrysanthemum has been ground. The overall condition is very good with original finish on metal parts & the furniture is in good condition with a few dents & dings of the type one would expect to see on a military service rifle that has been through a world war. It comes with a cleaning rod, a mismatched dust cover & a hooked quillon Type 30 bayonet that was made by Kokura Arsenal, a metal scabbard & leather frog. (CONSIGNMENT)
