"Serial number 8007. Made in 1873. 45 LC. Caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This is a very neat gun that falls in the Lot 8 Shipment of Martially issued Colt Single Action Armies. These guns were issued to the 5th, 8th, and 9th Cavalries. All three of the Cavalry units served in Texas and saw heavy combat during the Indian wars. This gun has been cleaned and a most of the screws and some of the small parts have been replaced.
