Serial number 1689. Made in 1874. 45 LC caliber with a 5 ½" barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with a dark gray patina. The numbers are correctly mismatched as the Artillery model Colts were made up from Cavalry models that had been disassembled, refurbished and re-assembled making no effort of trying to match the parts by serial number. Trace amounts of original blue remain in the protected areas. Original case colors remain in protected areas. The grips are very good and dated 1903.
