All original and complete. The early pistol has fine and untouched metal with clear markings. It is marked on the lock in the center, "S.NORTH/U.S. EAGLE/MIDLN. CONN". This marking was double struck at the factory. The top of the barrel is marked. "P/US. All of the metal on the pistol has a wonderful natural dark chocolate patina on it. The wood is fine throughout and has a U.S. Inspectors mark on the backside opposite the lock. The original wooden ramrod has its metal tip still on it.
