Weatherby Marl 5 Backcountry in 300 Weatherby Mag. The backcountry is an ultra light weight rifle at about 6 pounds wothout a scope. Roy Weatherby got it right in 1944 and still beats all 300 calibers except the 300 Ultra Mag.that has more recoil. This fifle with its recoil pad and muzzle break dramaticly reduces recoil and is closer to the 270 winchester. This rifle is as new and shoots sub half inch with my reloads.The scope does not go with the rifle. Shipping $89.00 insured.
