Description:
Very authentic and desired CS Richmond 1862 dated High Hump .58 cal, Musket. Produced in Richmond with componets and machinery captured from Harpers Ferry. 33" barrel with bead front sight and no provision for rear sight. No markings are present at breech. Stock has been altered / cut down forward of rear barrel band. Lock is High Hump pattern marked C.S. RICHMOND. VA. and dated 1862 at rear. Iron butt plate has no markings. Trigger assembly and guard are void of markings. The bore is very dark and the lock operates properly. All metal has attained an even chocolate patina and remains in as found un-cleaned condition.
