Payment Types Accepted: Description: This is a rare  piece of American History Ithaca 1911 a1 in 45acp.  Both frame and slide are Ithaca, 1944, not a miss match. Has the National Match sights, front and rear and comes with the original front and rear sights as well,  if you would like to install them easily.  I purchased this from the CMP a few years ago and comes with the Certificate of Authenticity in a CMP custom case for it.  I have not fired it since I owned it.  Included wil. be: 2 (8) round magazines, a reproduction side holster with lanyard, and belt with brass US buckle, a 2 magazine belt holster, shoulder holster and set of  new wood grips with the US insignia on each side.  I never put them on.   Right side is marked, United States Property,  M1911a1, US Army and serial number.  Left side is marked,  Ithaca Gun Co,  Ithaca NY. Pistol is extremly tight and will make a great shooter if you desire. I am 80 and a US Army Vet and this was the issue pistol of my time.  I was an Armorer (gunsmith) and could take these apart and put back together blindfolded and I can assure you this will make an excellent shooter if so desired.
