***SOLD*** Exceedingly scarce and in high condition. This is a Pre War Model 70 standard rifle in .270 Win. caliber.
S/N 58118 with matching scribed bolt was assembled in 1946, just after WWII, but from all Pre War finished components that still remained in inventory.
24" barrel with minty bore.
Incredible 98% original Blue and Varnish
Undrilled rear receiver bridge
Factory correct sights and hood including the proper 4 step rear sight elevator
Flawless mechanics, crisp and butter smooth as usual with these ultra fine and meticulously crafted Pre War guns that have not been messed with.
Surprisingly, the 270 has proven to be one of the most difficult Pre War calibers to locate, especially in this wonderful and unaltered condition!
