Shelhamer/Wilson custom varmint rifle in 220 Wilson Arrow
For sale is custom built varmint rifle in 220 Wilson arrow caliber. (this is a shortened 220 swift ) The metal is by L.E. Wilson with the stock by Tom Shelhamer. It is in 98% condition and is a true piece of American gunsmithing craftsmanship. The rifle is built on a tuned Winchester mod 54 action with a set trigger that has a release of 8oz.. Has a 25 lg x 1.0-inch dia. heavy barrel. The bore and chamber show light wear but shoots ½ MOA groups. Based on the Shelhamer stock serial number this rifle would have been built in the mid-1950s.
The rifle comes with a 2.0 inch, 10x Unertl Ultra Varmint scope with caps. The scope has a std cross hair reticule and is mounted in Unertl target mounts. The scope and mounts are in “as new” condition. The rifle has an overall length of 46 inches and the rifle and scope weighs in at 13 lbs 2 oz.
Also, it comes with a 220 WA FL sizing die and a precision bullet seating die. There are 28 loaded cases and 16 fired cases included along with loading information.
