Description:
Very Fine Colt SAA manufactured 1926 in 45cal with desirable 4 3/4" barrel.
All original with numbers matching except for Fluer de Lis walnut grips with Colt medalions.
Excellent bore, action and timing. Original finish with typical handling and use marks for a 98 year old firearm.
As a testament to Colt's creativity you can see that the serial number is overstamped with a 44 on the frame and backstrap. If you look closely at the serial numbers you can make out that under the 44 there is a 19 which matches the number stamped on the rear of the cylinder.
