Description:
Imperial German 1883 Reichsrevolver made by Erfurt 10.5mm 4 1/2" barrel. The revolver features single action firing, 6 shot cylinder capacity, blued finish, stepped octagon barrel, round bottom frame with wood grips, lanyard loop, frame mounted safety, and fixed sights. The revolver is marked "39. A. 4. 44" on the back strap which is a regimental mark. All visible numbers are matching. The finish is in great shape for it's age with a small area of very minor pitting on the right side of the barrel. The revolver functions as it should with proper timing and lockup. The loading gate is missing its tension spring. The cylinder has shiny chambers. The barrel has sharp rifling with some small dark spots. Awesome revolver for any WW1 collector!
