Description:
.60 caliber, 8" part octagon brass barrel with cannon turn to round. Flat lock with stepped lock, roller frizzen, and bolted safety. Both lock and barrel are signed "D. EGG". Brass mounts with ball butt and extended stirrups. Brass wrist escutcheon with "N 1 " under a coat of arms. Full length walnut stock and original ramrod. In superb original condition with the brass showing a mellow patina. Excellent wood. The lock and hammer have a subdued gun metal look and all is mechanically excellent. Exceptional overall.
