"Serial number 509. Made in 1874. 45 LC caliber with a 5 3/8" barrel. This is a fairly sharp gun with good clear markings. The barrel has been shortened and the sight remounted. Gun is all matching. Grips are original Colt grips, but not to this gun. Some screws are replacements. Small “A" markings are in the appropriate places for the O. W. Ainsworth inspection. This gun comes with a factory letter.
