WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION .44-40 WIN. CAL. RIFLE MFG. 1883. 24” round barrel with nickel blade front and elevator rear sights. Full length magazine tube. Barrel with London proofs at breech and left side plate stamped “R. B. RODDA & CO./DALHOUSIE HOUSE/CALCUTTA”. Very good to fine overall with 50% plus original blue with balance a medium grey patina. Stock and forend with the original finish with normal handling patina. Working order and fair bore with well-defined rifling that will clean even better. Nice original Model 1873 with interesting markings. Reasonably priced.
