Description:
For your consideration, a Smith & Wesson model 29-6 chambered in .44 Magnum. This piece is part of a complete set of S&W's 1990 "Twelve Revolvers" which was a subscription-based gun-of-the-month limited edition set exclusive to the distributor, Ellett Brothers of Chapin, SC. Note: this revolver and it's 11 companions are being sold as a set and WILL NOT be subdivided. The price for the entire set is $15,999.99. Please DO NOT inquire with offers of individual purchase, as they will not be entertained. The sideplates of each constituent revolver feature a miniature rendition of art from a classic S&W advertisement rendered via S&W's Lasersmith process. Original artwork can be viewed in the accompanying book. 500 such sets were to be made, but the business relationship between S&W and Ellett Bros. parted before completion; thereby making the number of complete sets, while unknown, lower than the intended issuance. Furthermore, the number of sets never originally purchased in full or since broken up makes this complete set quite scarce and desirable. This set is numbered 105 of 500. Each of the guns in the set appear to be unfired and include their factory box. .44 Magnum
