Beautiful Second Generation Colt model 1851 Navy. Serial no. 977 REL, .36 cal, 7 1/2" octagon barrel with perfect bore. This commemorative revolver is unfired, shows only slight handling marks, no cylinder ring. 99%factory blue on cylinder and barrel. Beautiful case colors visible on frame, hammer and loading lever. Grip frame is silver plated. Perfect walnut grips.
Walnut presentation case includes revolver, Eley Bros cap tin,"L" shaped nipple wrench/screw driver, brass round and conical bullet mold, Dixon powder flask, and key for brass lock on case.
A truly beautiful presentation set manufactured in 1971, using the same tooling as the original Colt 1851!
