1885 LOWALL SINGLE SHOT IN .32-20 (.32 WCF) CALIBER WITH 28" ROUND BARREL, #50XXX, MADE 1891. Has the fluted receiver ring that Winchester used on rifles with lightweight barrels typically in smaller calibers (No. 1 barrel weight) as was standard for the .32 WCF chambering in the 1885 Model. Nice, unmessed with outside appearance with tight wood to metal wood and excellent screw heads. The receiver case colors have faded to an uncleaned silver/gray with some color under the lever. The barrel blue has thinned/aged to mostly gray and + butt stock and forend with correct ebony forend tip inlay. Bore is only fair with good/worn rifling and corrosion. Might shoot okay as is or easily relined. A surprisingly hard caliber to find in the 1885 single shot.
